The GK Incinerator ignores cover saves and invulnerable saves. According the the Space Marine Codex the Legion of the Damned saving throw is invulnerable.

Unyielding Spectres: The Legion of the Damned are impervious to even the deadliest weaponry. Their saving throw is invulnerable.

So does this mean they do not get their 3+ save since it is actually a 3++ save?

Yup. Same way Necron Wraiths didn't get any save against them until GW FAQ-as-Errata'd it.
Notice as well the LotD's Wargear. Notice something missing? Like, say, Power Armour?

Except this time GW don't give 2 gaks.

Also ... null zone gives them a worse save then a scout (LoTD = 16/36 Scout = 3/6 ... 18/36)

I may be going off on a tangent but maybe this was intentional as no one is sure exactly what the legion of the damned is made of, for all we know they aren't physical beings at all.

I don't really think they are a good choice for the points.

The models look like gak. I know we'll be seeing more of them as people jump to buy up those new ugly models but they'll fade away faster than flash gits.

Isn't it weird that the space marine codex has been out for quite a long time now and we are only hearing discussion of taking legion of the damned in lists around the time the models are due out.
