That's pretty lame that the Halloween pic of my daughters dressed up as 'bad dice' was removed.

I have seen some fairly strange threads around, and quite a few on why girls are not in the hobby.

My girls were excited to share their picture with the forum; as they know this is where we post our game pictures and in their words"... they all will know what bad dice are..." They were excited to hear your comments this morning and instead found their picture deleted.

I guess building enthusiasm with young kids for gaming is not as cool as building a chaplain costume or ranting about game developers dying of heart attacks.

The original tag for the removed pic had read:

If you mean it was uploaded to the gallery and removed from the dakka drives, that's something
to take up with the moderators. Hit the alert a mod button and handle it through pms. I know
certain types of misc. wargaming stuff makes its way into the galleries, but I'm not sure
how tight the rules are.

It's a shame. Cute picture.

What a shame to the Dakka admin...so much other crap is allowed in the gallery that something like hobby related halloween costumes were removed...pathetic...

Still its good your girls are into the hobby so young despite what Dakka thinks of it, i think it s a great hobby to build important skills for youngsters.

I dig the costumes! Very cute! You know, letting your kids use that cheesey brand paint on miniatures is considered child abuse in some countries. Maybe Santa will bring you guys some Valejo paints. All kidding aside, I think it's great that you guys are in the hobby as a family. Family game night is so much cooler with Warhammer than it is with Clue.

Look close at the pics.. for it reveals that I am an Evil Dad... I have the Valejo Paint while they practice with AOBR Orks and Craft Paint!!!

I know, I know years of counseling are coming....

I can hear counseling sessions now, "My father never let us paint box Orks... only those silly two-part rigid posed Orks.... (sniffle sniffle)... then he made us paint them with craft paint. Craft Paint, do you hear me? He made us paint with cheap dollar store paint. I hate him, Just hate him."
