Yeah I know another paint stripping thread.

I just screwed up the paint on a model that I recently used alot of greenstuff on and need to strip the paint off.
Has anyone used a stripper/cleaner that does not affect plastic, super glue, or greenstuff?
I have read on here before (I think) that simple green works on plastic but I didn't know what it does to GS.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I think I just read on another website (that I can't find) that GS isn't affected by Simple Green, which is part of the reason I think it's so popular. But if someone else knows otherwise and sees this post, for god's sake post it here before poor Nate ruins something.

No, Simple Green will definitely breakdown GS and most polymers as well. I know this from hard experience. Even if its not soaked for long it'll make the GS soft and rubbery. It breaks down super-glue bonds as well. Simple green is popular because its non-toxic. That and you can easily get it in Europe without the restrictions and headaches of harsher chemicals.

So far as stripping GS goes, pretty much anything that strips paint is going to breaks down the bonds in the GS. Sorry.
