Hi!
Would (converted) Juggernaughts work as Thunderwolves?

I think I've seen something similar done before.... can't remember where.
but aren't juggernaughts all metal? that'll be expensive. I suppose Thunderwolves are metal too, unless you heavily convert wargs from lotr.

There is a P&M-blog for a SW-army where the dreadnought is standing on all four with a converted juggernaught head as its... head. Maybe that's the one your thinking of?
Yeap all metal, so yes it will be kinda expensive. I think wargs will be too small and so will all GWs wolf models I imagine.

Since I dislike the real thunderwolf model, I'm actually converting a thunderwolf from a juggernaut. It's in really early phase yet, so no WIP pics. But to answer your question, yes, I think a converted juggie would make an awesome t-wolf!

I have the results of the last chamber: You are a horrible person. That's what it says: A horrible person... We weren't even testing for that. |

Yeah I totally agree! I don't like Canis wolf either and I don't think GW will make the ordinary TWs any prettier (if they make any). Plus I think the idea of gigantic cybernetic wolves is kinda cool (or anyway cooler than the idea of gigantic wolves of flesh and bone)! So, juggernaughts it will be!
Good luck with your Juggie-TW project and I hope you post some picks when you have reached the picture taking phase!

Goatboy over at BoLS is doing a "Space Goats" army, with dozens (well five) Juggernauts as Thunderwolves. That may be what you're thinking of.
