Subject: base size Question

So i am just getting in to necrons and i just revised a nightbringer from a friend. however it did not come with a base. so my question is what size base dose he go on . terminator sized or MC. and a second question of the same manor. what size dose a deamon prince go on. my friend has it on a terminator size base and said his forums say it is ok and i am asking the lovely people of dakka for there answer

Nightbringer comes with a 40mm (Terminator-sized) base.
Daemon Princes vary. Some come with a 40mm base, some come with a 60mm.

Building off of this, can I put IG heavy weapon teams on a 40? Or does it have to be a 60?

As if on cue, you hear two people singing from the stairwell, and the door is opened and a pair of very smelly, very dirty guardsmen stumble in, completely drunk, and covered in vomit, and immediately collapse unconsious on the porch. You drag them to their beds, realising that they will not be waking up for some time.  |

Before, you had an option. Now, it has to be a 60mm.
Why? Because the 2 Model HWT are no longer useable as HWT are now 1 model.

I can't believe that GW would put the Nightbringer on a 40mm base. I got one second hand that was baseless and I tried sticking it on a spare 40mm base only to have it fall over several times before I stuck it on a 60.
