Well I was wondering if this, old blood on a carnosuar with light armor, shield, blade of revered Tzunki, carnosuar pendant (maybe redundant because the carnosaur's frenzy would effect the rider too), and talisman of protection (or glyph necklace if I dropped the pendant) would make a good character for winning in challenges and killing lots of rank and file troops? I would put him in a unit of cold one cavalry for protection btw (would this be OTT?).

and If a scar vet with a great weapon, light armor, and hide of the cold ones would be good for leading a unit of saurus (possibly challenging other heroes, and carrying the battle standard)?

What other combinations would make a good character?

Old bloods on carnosuars with dam near any get combo excel at killing rank and file and generally win challenges handily. They are beasts.

The cav comment is far from OTT, the pendant is indeed redundant.

I would actually stick the scar vet in the cold ones and the old blood in the saurus warriors.

The cold ones do not want to go running screaming up the middle. To easy to be flanked and killed without the char fighting. And you dont really want your killy killy char isolated on a flank.
