This just in, courtesy of TTGN. Wargames Factory have released the first "sampler pack" of their Vikings, and I must say, they look rather good. Loads of customization potential on the sprues, separate weapons, copious amounts of heads (even including the stereotypical-though-unhistorical horned helmet), and so on. 28mm scale historical games aficionados have never had it so good.



And at 8 miniatures for only $5, good value for money, as well.

Good for replacement Chaos Marauders I guess, should you wish to do an all foot Marauder army!

Well, if you didn't mind them being far smaller than any of GW's human figures, maybe. They'd look awfully puny compared to, say, grots or dwarves.
