I actually have created 4 different lists, but I thought this one was the best. I have blown tons of money on 40K, but have never played a full game. I am interested in building an army, and Khorne is my favorite (along with the Imperial Fists which I plan on building also). I want it to be a competitive Khorne list (no other marks). Any help you all can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Pat that askala, O-H-I hate this stupid state

Well it looks like a solid list. The only thing i can critique is putting a chainfist instead of the powerfist in with your termie squad. Possibly take out 1 termie and add daemonic possession to you LRs.

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its just a freight train coming your way!

Looks ok to me, I agree about the chain fist though.

Not sure about the defiler as its a easy target all on its own.

I like it. But I would find the points to add daemonic possesion to the LRs. It is very useful.

I agree with the chain fist.

Also, be careful with Kharn. While I think he is a great HQ choice and an absolute monster in CC, he is also dangerous for your army. Choose carefully what squad he is with in assault, becasue he will probably kill a few of your own models before the game is over. This is a very expensive problem if he assaults with a terminator squad. ]

Just my thoughts on this.

Okay, I have taken your advice. The army is still very Khornate, but I took away the MOK from my Terminators, and added more Berzerkers to the berzerker squads (no longer all 8 members). I dropped the Defiler and added Demonic Possession to the Land Raiders and added another Terminator. I originally thought the enemy would focus his fire power on the Land Raiders instead of the Defiler. My plan is to stick Kharn in the 9 man squad and load them into a Land Raider. Another 10 Man squad will hop in to a Land Raider and they will head off after the prey. The Terminator squad will teleport down and destroy armour and other high value targets. The rhinos will trail the Land Raiders. I also added the Chainfist.

Change the Rhino Zerker squads into CSM squads with 2x Meltagun and Champ with a PF.

Change the termies into:

3x Terminator squad: [105]: 3x Combi-melta.
3x Terminator squad: [105]: 3x combi-melta.

Have to agree with cptjoeyg on dropping the land raiders and replacing them with rhinos. The extra point can be pumped into more bodies to throw at the enemy (effectively the strat for world eaters). Land raiders are too big a point sink to be really worth it, especially when they are used as transports.

While I cannot argue that this is indeed a good world eaters list, it will play entirely differntly than what Dorns Fist Has been talking about using as a list. A World Eater list with LRs is much different, and I think that LRs full of Berzerkers is a very good way to go. Yes, it takes away the amount of bodies he can put on the table, but being able to shake off most long range anti-tank and having a 20 inch assault bubble is very valuable.

This build is good, but after playing both types, I prefer the LR version.

I have to agree. I myself have a list very similar with Zerkers in 2 LRs and some regular marines in Rhinos. I would never suggest playing Zerkers in rhinos because you cannot assault out of the rhino like you can the LR. Its an amazing list to play and if you want to add a different edge, take a couple DP with Lash and lash an enemy unit close to your LRs and assault the hell out of it on turn 1 =). Thats what i do.

You can assault out of rhinos. You just have to wait a turn.

Instead of moving 12" and then getting out 2" and getting shot to pieces, you move 12" and then wait inside the rhino. Then, the next turn you get out 2", move 6" and assault 6" for a 14" assault.

Long range firepower will kill this list. You need at least a little of your own. Even a min. Havoc squad with Rockets or Autocannons is only 155 :p You won't be able to pop hardly any armor to assault the contents inside, so it will be really hard for you to get the charge (which is what you're wasting all those points on by taking Berzerkers instead of regular CSM). This codex wasn't designed to take legion lists out of.

Their right on the firepower. To go with the theme and feel of the world eaters. I really like defilers for this. 2xCCW, you can move and shoot if you wanna soften them up or just fleet right into it. Dreads can have the same effect but I feel the newest dex has screwed them. People say Oblits aren't fluffy (I couldn't tell you one way or the other) but they can march and fire. Infiltrating chosen with plasma, MoK could work too, and get just deep enough to be "long range" You'll move in quick enough to support them too.

Or you can get a armour 14 all round super hard tank with anti tank and anti infantry fire power. To boot you can move 12" and assault out of it, so 2" bail out and 6" assault move. Gives you a assault range of 20" in total all in one turn. Tell me what is best, a land raider or rhino?

With a rhino you have to sit and wait, you can get blown up. Rhinos aren't hard. Any smart player will pop the rhinos and blow the squads up. This is a lot harder to do with a land raider.

Your actual question should be "What is best, a landraider or 7 rhinos" or "A landraider, or two squads of berserkers instead of one" ..... in either case, I wouldn't pick the landraider
