My Seach-fu failed. Anyone have a quick guide to basing buildings? I've just got an imperial sector!

This is not a tutorial, moving to general P&M forums, please be more careful where you post in the future.

I use mdf placemats for mine, they're roughly 8"x12". They cost me about a buck each. I'm too lazy to jigsaw them out of a larger sheet.

It's mainly for convenience. I know they'll fit into the storage crates I have to keep them in. I know I can use 7-8 of them to fill 25% of the table in terrain.

I have enough pieces to do 4-5 tables this way, or one VERY dense cityfight table setup.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

I prefer big sheets of thick (at least 2mm) plasticard, if I can get it cheaply - I know it will stick properly to the plastic buildings.

Storage is certainly an issue - unless you'll only ever be playing at home, I suggest you look at storage before even assembling your buildings, it may affect how big you want your buildings to be.

I use liquid nails to attach my buildings and ruins to the placemats. They hold well enough.

Not even my hamfisted teenage clubmates can remove them.
