hi. I am pretty much brand new at gaming. I still haven't come up with a final paint scheme for my ig. thinking about Striking tigers from last years codex...
first point. I have absolutely no clue how to paint glass effects on scopes...
please help! I've been pulling my hair out cuz im so noobish...

Welcome to dak dak and what might work is a dark blue with dheneb stone as highlight for the reflection. Thats what i think will work i am still learning myself so if anyone has a better idea to do this feel free to chime in.

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its just a freight train coming your way!

A purple room in England

If you think the same way you would paint a gem. My easy-ish kinda method

Say your working with a red scope . . .
-Red gore basecoat
-Red gore + Blood red leaving pure redgore on the lower of the scope and a little round the edge
-More blood red to the mix, again leaving the last layer on the bottom and a little round the edge
-Baal red wash to tie it together
-Small dash of skull white as a highlight
