Ok, so I won the Ard Boyz semi-finals yesterday at my FLGS. My question to you is this. Since I picked Skaven, is there any chance at all they send me a bunch of the old models instead of the new ones?

I would hate to think so, but you never can tell.

One of the guys at the store I played the semis at said that he asked about that, and was told that they would unload all of the old crap to him. Hopefully this is wrong, but I guess you'll find out. Please let us know, I am curious about it. Thanks and good luck at the finals!

We had a hellpit abomination and skaven clanrats as prize support at a tourney on the weekend, so the new stuff should be available.

also, the only models 'available' online are the new ones, plus they are released in like a week and a half, so i would suspect they will give the new ones for at least the ones that would be available at the time. I won my Semi in FL and requested skaven myself, I just put in the caviat that if they state they are sending old ones, I want to change my choice to wood elves! No monkey dogs for me, no thank you!

Well, I called GW and asked them directly. The person on the phone said the decisions on what gets sent were made by the Store Rep for that area. But she also said that if a product was not available for sale, they would not send it.

Here's hoping.
