Am I right in assuming that Chaos Space Marine forces can use Imperial Superheavies in apocalypse battles? I don't have the rulebook yet but I was hoping to get a Baneblade/Stormlord for my Chaos Forces but being Imperial Tanks I'm unsure if I can use them? However I have seen pictures of Chaos Baneblades and the like before...

Secondly, if I can take the aforementioned superheavy tanks, whats the rules on transporting models in Power Armour, as presumably theyre designed for Guardsmen not Space Marines?

Thanks, all help appreciated.

Page 59 in the Apocalypse rulebook allows Chaos players to use Imperial Baneblades.
Wether this extends to other vehicles is an issue you have to take up with your opponent.

Orls can do the same.

Actually it states you can use any of the imperial sheets, not just the baneblades.

So yes, Vindi line breaker squadrons FTW

Transport slots for standard infantry are the same.

The eye of terror.

It's apocalypse, you can do whatever the hell you want. Rules don't apply, and players get butt-hurt all the time.

Why did the berzerker cross the road?

A new day, a new time zone.

Apocalypse justifies it as anything the Imperium has, has at some point in the past also turned traitor or been stolen by Chaos, so it's perfectly legitimate to field various super-heavies.

As for transport capacity, I think the rules for super heavy transports might make mention of how different models work.

There is a chart detailing how many spaces each type of model takes up, up to and including dreadnoughts.

QFT It is allowed in the rules & I personally would have no qualms with it assuming you make the vehicles look like chaos ones (not needed but would be nice). Also I don't know about RaW but I know some of the titan legions turned traitor. . .

Trade rules: lower rep trades ships 1st. - I ship within 2 business days, if it will be longer I will contact you & explain. - I will NOT lie on customs forms, it's a felony, do not ask me to mark sales as "gifts". Free shipping applies to contiguous US states.

The rule of cool is very much in effect in Apocalypse. If it's cool, it's allowable. Unfortunately, cool is subjective, which can cause arguments. For example, I once played someone who thought putting Mad Dok Grotsnik in a unit of TH/SS marine terminators to give them FNP was cool. I polity disagreed. Then again, I also took 2 stompas with 5 big meks inside each (one with KFF) to keep them up and running so...

However yes, Chaos can take any and all Imperial Datasheets. Pretty much any army has some argument for access to Baneblades. Back when they were the only superheavy readily available, we came up with reasons for every single army except Eldar.

All Imperial Forces: Fairly obvious.
Chaos: Traitors
Dark Eldar: Slaves
Tau: Gue'vesa
Necrons: Dark Mechanicus
Tyranids: Genestealer Cultists
Demons: Possession
Orks: Looted
Eldar: ???

Eldar could simply be allied to Imperial forces, right?

The rule also allows you to take things Chaos wouldn't normally be able to take, such as Basilisks.

Magnus: But I know what's best, bawwwwww! Emprah: Horus, tell Russ to bring Magnus to me because I said so. Horus: Emprah wants you to kill Magnus because he said so. Russ: Fine. Emprah's always right. Plus Ole Red has already been denounced as a traitor and I never liked him anyway. Russ: You're about to die, cyclops! Magnus: O noes! Tzeentch, I choose you! Bawwwww! Russ: Ah well. Now to go kill Horus. Russ: Rowboat, how have you not been doing anything? Guilliman: . . . I've been writing a book. Russ: Sigh. Let's go. Guilliman: And I fought the Word Bearers! Horus: Oh shi--Spess Puppies a'comin? Abbadon: And the Ultramarines, sir. Horus: Who? Anyway, this looks bad. *enter Sanguinis* What are you doing here? Come to join me? Sanguinius: *throws self on Horus's power claws* Alas, I am undone! When you play Castlevania, remember me! *enter Emprah* Emprah: Horus! So my favorite son killed my favorite daughter! Horus: What about the Lion? Emprah: Never liked her. Horus: No one does. Now prepare to die! *mortally wounds Emprah*Emprah: Au contraire, you dick. *kills Horus* Dorn: Okay, now I just plug this into this and . . . okay, it works! Emprah? Hellooooo? Jonson: I did nothing! Guilliman: I did more nothing that you! Jonson: Nuh-uh. I was the most worthless! Guilliman: Have you read my book? Dorn: No one likes that book. Khan: C'mon guys. It's not that bad. Dorn: I guess not. Russ: You all suck. Ima go bring the Emprah back to life.
