Last night I played 1000 pts. My SoB vs. Eldar. I got destroyed with assaults.
Are there any Imperial force that are real good in assault combat? Is there a codex that can go up aginst eldar and Orks?

I have Codex Black Templars and DH codex. Most combat units have an Attack stat of 1. Yes, many can have 2 assault weapons , But so do the opponents.
Blood angles codex is on the web. Is it considered a codex or just white dwarf, unofficial rules/ chapter approved? Most of the opponents have lots of attacks.
The Empero's Champion has a Attack stat of 2, he does have 2 combat weapons. He has Terminator honors that give him the 2nd attack.

I would go for Black Templars as they are large in numbers, run towards the enemy when shot and every troop can have a pistol + CCW.

Yeah Black Templar.. I have never fought any of these fellows but I know they are assualt oriented. Arn't the seraphim or the Sisters with the jump packs any good at assualt?

I've sold so many armies. :(

Probably work

I have to ask why you're dead set on meeting him on his terms? I'd stick with ranged attacks and make him come through cover to you. No imperial forces are going to be able to top his initiative. While you might be able to build up similar attacks and better strength, you're still trying to best what he's good at, which never works well. Alternatively though, if that's what you're dead set on doing, I've had some fun attacking Eldar in melee with GKTs, which would be a fun match with your Sisters. You could have up to two squads of them with the allies rules, though it would hurt your faithfulness. Also, they're expensive. A squad of three plus an incinerator (horray ignoring cover and invul saves!) sets you back about 168. Top shelf stuff though.

Space Wolves are fantastic in close combat. Blood Angels are also pretty good, as they can field loads of assault marines. Yes, the Blood Angels codex is legal to use. However, there's a lot to be said for playing on your terms - just because your opponents are assaulty doesn't mean you have to be too. Clever tactics and maneuverability can overcome an assault-heavy list without too much hassle. Mechanizing can really throw a wrench in your opponent's plans.

My problem is with my SoB army. They are a close range rapidfire, shoot them up army. At 12" the survivors move then assault. Sister Seraphim have a Str and T of 3. Hard to inflict wounds. We both play our strenghts. (rapid fire lines, use of Faith) Getting flanked by assault troops starts the carnage. Then they get more troops in assault, because I can't shoot into assault. I did play SW in 2nd ed. I have not looked at the codex."always outnumbered" Put the Codex SW last on my buy list. I do run mechanised army. At 1000 pts I ran 2 rhinos,2 immolators and a exorcist. His wave serpant went down quick. Rhino based vehicles are easy to destroy. The 1 round of smoke helps. Warwalkers and wraithlord with eldar psykers "Doom,Guide ect"

I think you should stick with the sisters..

I dunno how to plya them but Im sure theres a tatica somewhere on here, or you could post this question in the tactics section..

Dont give up yet IMO its a big mistake to give up on an army unless its necrons..

Maybe tool up some inquisitors and a retinue of servitor melee fighters or crusaders. Psychic hoods will go a long way toward stopping Eldar dead in their tracks. Personally, I'd throw in the inquisitor, give the immolators TL multimeltas, and maybe some of the heavy weapon sisters (retributors?) with heavy bolters for extra firepower. Screen the tanks and sisters with the inquisitors for melee protection and then focus on outgunning him with the rest. Worst case if you need some extra firepower, induct some guard. Picking up another army for the purposes of overcoming one opponent doesn't make you a better player.

Players react to their opponents. Most play to the opponents weakness. If you see a firing line of SoB,melta gun and H.flamer (10)models.,8 rapidfire bolters. You would avoid them, use cover. I move All vehicles 6" or more, to lower the possiability of getting assaulted.
I do have a lot of models and figures to tune up my armies. I used the retibutor squad with MM. HB did help a little in past games. They get shot up aster the 1st turn of shooting.(kill all threats)The dominion with flamers killed a few of the flankers. Then they are assaulted. The eldar spells just upgrade his models. I have noticed a pattern. Once My units are assaulted, I am dead meat. vs most armies. I will continue on tacts forum. I do like the SoB in a turny I can have 9 vehicles and 50 figures on the table. Faith spells are great.

Use your faith to make sure that you your sisters die in his assault phase. And die they will they're not much better than guardsmen in CC. Then once it's your turn again some heavy flamers and divine guidance will take care of your problem.

Even better if you can tie up the other guys assaulty units with invulnerable seraphim and cannonesses. Seraphim are extra good at this as they can use their codex hit and run to bail at the end of the enemies CC phase and set up his infantry for flamers.

Good luck.
