This is the first Chimera for my new Chaos IG, I just finished it and wanted to see what you thought. I like how it's come out and it was fun to make but after another 6 or 7 tanks I think I'll be sick of them.

The army will be an elite organised chaos army so I tried to show this by making the chimera look chaosy but still keeping it looking functional and not damaged beyond use.

These are the best pictures:

(since these pictures were taken I have cleaned up the chaos symbol on the top)

What do you think of it? Any advice for improvement?

I may start a blog for this army as I really want to make them look as good as possible but i'm not sure if I will be able to get the models fast enough, i'll have to see.

Thanks for looking,
The Devourer.

I like it! Especially like the front symbol!
I think this will look really good as a whole army!

Looks good. Not too over the top, but does the job.

Chaos symbols can get away with being a little rough... they've been painted on by renegades with more enthusiasm than painting skill

The dozer blade is great, although a few more small nicks and scrapes wouldn't go astray.

I like this. Very strong colour and some nice freehand work.

All I'd suggest is perhaps some barbed wire or something to add to up the 'ominous' factor.

Good work, especially on the front symbol. It would look even better with some battle damage or something showing a slightly more allegience to Chaos.

I think that these are the best kind of renegade and chaos armies: heretical and treasonous but neither warped nor mutated. Good work.

Others have already said, but I'll say it also, good job!

I do agree that there is...something...that could enhance it. I think the barbed/razor wire is a good idea also. All in all though, a solid paintjob and a great looking conversion.

Good job! Nice freehand (if it is), but like others said, it could use a bit more chaos-ifiying.

Agreed with the rest, good work!

But (And I could be totally wrong) I think the front hatch/vision slit thingy is up the wrong way
