This year I will be going as Rorschach but.. next year I want to piece together a expensive and rather nifty costume.
The Viking will be very expensive but so sweet. With real chain mail too. The biker scout is well a idea since a pal of mine is going as a stromtrooper.

Ya know while were talking is it just me or is it less and less each year that people seem to really care for Halloween? It was always my favorite time of the year. Getting to be something I was not for a day and eating candy! What not to love?

Dont forget that Cheese is an Aussie. We dont do Halloween like the US (and apparently Canada).

Of course its 30+ degrees at the end of october in most places in Australia, so wearing a costume can get oppressive (and stinky).

However I am going to a halloween party, dressed as Ash from evil dead (the first one).

Oh yeah - my vote - storm trooper.

Having a set of Viking armor is always good, the costume is just gravy.

The viking costume comes with real weapons and chainmail.

Out of boredom I made a "Sniper Rifle" in case the biker idea came back again.

Remember, if you do the Viking, guzzle a dozen energy drinks and a bottle of Everclear, then kill a small animal with your bare hands, so that you have the proper berserker rage built up.

If you do go as a Storm Trooper scout watch out for hairy midgets. They will lay the smack down on you with a stick, despite you being twice their size and armed with laser weapons....

In the current economic climate I'd go for the viking. If everything then goes wrong you're all set to join the icelanders when they start raiding atlantic coastlines again. It's only a matter of time now, when even McDonalds has left them.

If you go as a Scout Trooper, also beware of anything that is shaped like a bike.

And the kid who is hitting on his sister.

And the hairy midgets that WG mentioned.

And trees.

What's everclear?

Everclear is a drink in the US. Its like pure alcohol. Sometimes you see the guys who do the human flamethrower thing? They use everclear. Here's a pic I found.
