M. Fischer, is a brilliant artist, kid's book author, musician and performer. This is actually relevant to Privateer Press and WARMACHINE because many of you know Scott from his artwork in the Khador section in the original WARMACHINE: Prime, including such pieces as the Widormakers and Doom Reavers. You've also seen his artwork all over a thousand other products like Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: the Gathering, and more.

Currently, Scott is in the running in a contest to have his latest kid's book, JUMP!, included in a bazillion Cheerios boxes around the world. There's no profit in this, only the honor and glory of having his hard work delivered to millions of happy, health conscious children. The contest is being decided by a public vote and I want to see if WE can rock it.

All you need to do is go to the link below, hit the arrow in the lower right corner until you see his book, JUMP!, and then click vote. It will take you less time to do that than it did to read the above instructions. Here is the linky:

You can vote once a day until 10/30/09. Please forward this to as many people/mailing lists/friends/etc/ as you can. We need to beat that damn purple Kangeroo!!!

I'm all for supporting someone that you are a fan of the work of, but I have not read Jump!, or any of those books and I would be lying if I voted for him here.

If this were a vote for "best artwork" or "best artist" I might vote, but this is completely unrelated to the work that anyone here is familiar with, and it seems dishonest to support his children's book based on other work of his that you know. What if it's a really bad book? What if there is another book that deserves to win much more?

Congratulations on being a paragon of High moral fiber.

This is a wargaming artist with a long list of work in various high profile gaming products who is attempting to break into mainstream children's book illustrating. He is one of us( a gamer).

Regardless he made it into the boxes, even without your vote.
