Ok so this grot, was the only one to not only kill a SM, but did so, and survived the kill team game I played last week. And another + hes its the first time I used grots, so hes the only one with a kill. So I wanted spruce the lil guy up a bit. The gun is truely golden, but you have to zoom in a bit in the gallery to actually see it. Anyways, enjoy

Hooah to the grot then! I've always been a fan of individual recognition for models. Granted theres only a half dozen of my guard models with them but thats just following the government guidelines for valor (must be dead to be brave) lol

I kinda agree with the copper statement, however if you zoom in you can see quite a few flecks of gold.

Yea again, its my back up camera. It works...... but thats it. The gun in person is REALLY gold. Its kind of coppery because, well I couldnt NOT paint some rust on the thing.
And its not a dark angel. Its my brothers home made chapter, and the base is a dark camo green. I didnt have the exact color, so I mixed until it was close lol

That's a really nice model idea. While the gun does look copper, it may just be the photography.

Indeed.. i love single models that become super godly heroic and maul bigger things.

My favorate is my kaskin sargent... He was the last of his team, a 10 man sqaud with a flamer and a G-launcher... 5 space marine bikers charged him.... They failed to kill him, then proceeded to murder them all.

Looks really good. The model is good and paint is great.

It would have been possibly funnier of he was wearing the helment on top of his head; kinda just sitting on top cause his ears wont fit. But the defeated marines helmet is a good touch.

PaulGuise - I actually thought of doing that. But oddly enough, a SM helmet is WAS to small to fit on a grot. And I just couldnt see putting it ontop of his head, its just not my style. So I copped out and stuck it on the base lol
