Ok, so I have made up this variant of terminator that I think is a balanced build.

First Cohort Terminators
0-1 Elite choice
Terminators of the first cohort are the elite of the elite of the GreyTemplars space marines. Although every Piles has a single century of terminators, the terminator veterans who make up the first cohort of the Primos Piles, the equivalent of a first company, are the finest terminators in the imperium eclipsed only by the Grey Knights and the Deathwing. The First Cohort has honed its skills fighting every enemy that the void has thrown at them but there is a special place of hatred in the first cohorts heart for the Eldar, thanks to the fact that early in the chapters history the Primos Piles was wiped out by an Eldar warhost.

.....................Pts.....WS........BS.........S..........T..........W.........I.........A.........Ld........Sv
Terminator....50........5..........4...........4..........4...........1.........4.........2..........9..........2+
Sergeant.......50........5..........4...........4..........4...........1.........4.........3..........9..........2+

Number per squad; Sergeant and 4-9 terminators

Weapons/equipment; Relic Blade, Storm Shield, terminator armor, and Melta-Bombs

Options; For every five models in squad one model may have a Clyclone missile launcher(30 pts)
The squad may have the Furious Charge special rule for +3 points per model.

Transport; the squad may select a landraider of any type as a transport from the Heavy support section, or the squad may choose a Drop pod if squad numbers 6 models or less

Special Rules; And they Shall Know no Fear, Combat squads, Preferred enemy (Eldar)

What do you think????????

PS; I have not play tested this yet, but it looks good on paper.

I think they should be 55 points each. Im sorry, im picky i know, but a 10 pt difference isnt enough IMO.

Ok, one. I like the relic blades. Melta bombs should just be optional, i think.
Two. I dont think furious charge should be an option. They wouldnt have honed their skills just to charge blindy at someone. Maybe consider giving them stubborn?
Three. The seargent shouldnt have three attacks, man. That's more than a SM codex chaplain. (which is gay in my opinion, but still.)
I like the idea of 5 ws though. I think you should give the seargent 10 ld too.
They do look good though. Good stuff, man. Good stuff.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

THE EMPRAH!

There. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Smurfies 5th company
1750ish points

Joint Biel-Tan Army with Tortoiseer
-1000ish points

So, they're better than TH/SS Terminators in assault, they can take ranged weapons, and they get Preferred Enemy? Seems rather underpriced to me.

I think this is a good idea, although Furious Charge just dosent seem like it fits into the general theme of this idea.

O H I am in the Webway...

So Grey Knight Terminators that have a 3+ invuln save, can get Furious Charge, and have meltabombs, and get ATSKNF AND can get a CML!

That sounds great!

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster and if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you

Yes, I was thinking 50 pts is low, 55 seems better.

I was basing the FC purchase on the old codex where any terminator squad could get that rule for 3 pts each, which is something i miss

For the CML, i have always thought it makes sense because they have no other ranged weapons and it would be a easy thing to just stick it on top.

Sorry about the Sergeants attack profile, I copied and pasted that from another thing I was working on. should be only be A 2

Personally I have to say that if terminators were built like the fluff says, they would all have WS and BS 5, 2 wounds, have preferred enemy for everything(they are after all supposed to be a few hundred years old) cost 75 points each and would be fearless. Seriously Terminators are just Tac-marines with 2 attacks, 2+ save, and a 5+ inv.
