So I was kicking around an idea the other day about a Chaos Lord with the Mark of Tzeentch, Terminator Armor, Daemon Weapon and a Personal Icon.

The Daemon Weapon makes him something of a threat in shooting and HTH. D6 S4 AP3 shots at 24" whilst on the move cant be bad right? And if he makes it close enough to charge, that could turn out pretty well too.

I was wondering if anyone runs this build, and if so, would you mind posting what kind of list you usually run with him in it?

Id love to see!
Thanks!

I don't like it. The Tzeentch DW is 2nd weakest, because it's still only S4 with no additional rules like ID or poison. TDA makes Lords too slow. MoTZ is overcosted for Lords. The Per Icon is situational.

Vivano crudelis exitus.

Da Boss wrote:No no, Richard Dawkins arresting the Pope is inherently hilarious. It could only be funnier if when it happens, His Holiness exclaims "Rats, it's the Fuzz! Let's cheese it!" and a high speed Popemobile chase ensues.

In your squads, doing the chainsword tango

Fun Tzeentchy army? yeah it can kinda work. I've done it before with a termy squad with a RAC. Kinda cool, but the end result can still be summed up as "meeehh".

Forever alone

If you really want to use a Chaos Lord, I recommend Mark of Khorne+Bloodfeeder. It's risky, but it can really pay off... if you're lucky.

Mark of Slaanesh+Blissgiver isn't bad for a character-killer. I've tried one out a bit, and he's killed a fair few SM characters.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I guess it just seems cool on paper, or maybe against small MEQ squads. Ah well, onto something else I guess.....

Thanks Responders!

What is that lord good for:
Attacking Small MEQ squads out of cover.

I think dumping almost 200 points into that role is just too much.
I rather take 60 points points and have 2 flying Daemon Princes.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
