Hi all, has anyone got any idea what edition these models are, they're my friends, also could you tell me a price if they are worth anything.

Thanks.

Picture 1: 1st edition (Rogue Trader) Space marine with plasma gun (late 80s).

Picture 2: Scouts (plastic) from the Advanced Space Crusade game (but also RT edition 40k).

As to value, can't say.

I'm not a "collector", nor valuer.

Somewhere in south-central England.

They might fetch £1-£4 each on eBay depending how collectable they are.

I've sold a bunch of late-80s-early-90s GW figures on eBay such as early SMs, Squats, and Judge Dredd.

They can go for good prices if someone is looking for them. You need to be lucky with the timing.

You will probably do best to strip the paint and offer them as bare metal.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Look on ebay for Space marines (I don't use Ebay - at all) and you'll get an idea if they are or not.

Sorry, can't help with that.

That's a plasma gun? I thought it was a shuriken catapult.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Plasma guns were a more conical 'muzzle' back then than todays squared-off oval.

Plasma cannons (heavy plasma guns) were more cylindrical.
