I'm thinking of picking this one up. Diablo type gameplay and 20 dollar pricetag.
Only thing holding me back is the limited class choices. I really liked Diablo 2's
class choices, so the three selections seems a bit of a setback.

Hmm. I like Diablo's class choices better. Sure 5 is more than 3, but Diablo's classes were broader in scope.
Diablo 2 had the cool skill tree though.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. |

I like the specialty hybrids (an odd description if there ever was any). The special abilities of
Diablo 1 made me yawn. Even if Diablo 2 had only 3 classes, I'd still prefer the flavor of
any three they could have chosen from the seven vs. the generic Warrior/Rogue/Mage
setup of Diablo 1.
(I guess it's four if you count the Monk, but I never played that).

It is getting GOOD reviews, it is only $20, my friend (that I trust on these things!) is having fun with it, and it is a fun way to pass the time until Diable 3 shows up. Whenever that is!
Bottom line - I'll probably be downloading it tonight!

On the minus side, video games steal time from my projects...

I've been playing it for the past 3 or 4 days. It's very entertaining but is severely crippled by the lack of any form of multiplayer.
The game's mechanics are exactly how diablo 3 should play, however the storyline is rather lacking.
Levelling up is frequent and rewarding and the loot drops are awesome.
This game seems to be the perfect type of game to play when you are stuck without internet. UNLIMITED DUNGEONS? Yes please.

Agreed!
I finished the main quest and I'm playing through the 'unlimited dungeon' and quests now.
I'll probably keep at it for a while longer.
Certainly scratched that Diablo itch...

I picked it up last night and for $20 it has been worth every penny.
It is not as deep as Diablo2 but seeing as how I can't find all my d2 discs and D3 is rumoured to have been pushed back to late 2k10, early 2k11 it gives me my diablo fix.
Lack of multiplayer doesn't concern me much, not for $20

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.
“The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government.”
