I'm thinking about making a Undead 40k army using the Ork codex.
Using vampire count undead figures and just applying the ork rules to em.
I'm a ork player so I'm familiar with the rules just different models.

Is this a good Idea or am I gonna get bored with the idea and just go with my original idea of using the IG codex since I've never used it before?

Opinions

"Samus. That's the only name you'll hear. Samus. It means the end and the Death. Samus. I am Samus. Samus is all around you. Samus is the man beside you. Samus will gnaw upon your bones. Look out! Samus is here."

What about the undead would be conducive to an Ork playstyle? Playing the same codex would also get kind of old, even with a codex as great as the Ork one.

Yeah, I guess the part of creating a new army is that I need to use a different codex.

If I'm gonna spend the money on building it I might as well spend the money on another codex.

P.S. @ Brother SRM I really enjoy your cartoons. I go around saying Spehss Mahreens and laugh my butt off.

Its a cool idea i think for a fun lil studio or show off army

For the codex, i would mix some of the rules from Necrons(maybe, since the codex hasn't been updated in awhile),
and Tomb Kings (like da crumble rule with their morale), and a mix of vampire counts.

Thats my insight, and I'd like to see of picture of that army once your done or partway through with it

Another thing that might be difficult for the army is how it would fit in with the rest of W40k
