So, I was visiting my girlfriend at her college (we go to different ones, her's is a few hours away) and while we were at a house party our song came on. It was Forever and Always by Bullet For my Valentine. We never really had an official song, but we both find this one really.. idk, meaningful to us. Neither of us have really been huge Bfmv fans, but we love this song.
I'd just like to know, if you and your significant other have a song, official or not. and what is it?

If one is going to be making, as it were, the loving, then one needs an epic song.
O Fortuna perhaps, or something from the Conan Soundtrack (the Battle of the Mounds, perhaps?).
The William Tell Overture and the works of John Phillips Sousa are not recommended for safety reasons. Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture would be considered somewhat cheeky.

"Come On Eileen" by Dexys Midnight Runners got me in the missus' pants (or vice-versa), long before she was the missus. Thank god for 80's nights at clubs in the 90's...
What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

Chickenbgood I believe in you. It takes much fortitude to not fall in the face of temptation. You can do it.
Who am I kidding? Todays kids got no 'sticktoitiveness' (what? If you americans can make up words like 'tenaciousness' then I can too.) and I give you 2 months before you slide into depravity. Good luck.

Conor Oberst may have written many, many depressing songs. But this not so depressing one is just special no matter who you are. The video definitely shows this.

I've heard that song many times before but I had never seen the video before. It is quite nice. This song definitely has an impact on a lot of couples, for sure.
I recently went to one of my friend's wedding and that was their first song, and the bride's brother actually made a completely animated video for the song. I thought it was quite remarkable:
the ex-future lady polonius (that's a convoluted title) and I loved the song "Do you realize" by the Flaming lips. Now that she's married to somebody else, not so much.
Seriously, it is a very bittersweet song about enjoying what you have.

That's an amazing video, her brother must have really been dedicated to do this. Yeah, the song has an impact on couples, but also close friends as well.
Well, considering that my last relationship with the opposite sex ended in attempted murder because I wouldn't go off to join the cult that recruited her, this seems appropriate.
