I once wrote to Super Glue Corp. with "my story" of how I use their product on miniatures, resulting in my getting some free product shortly thereafter and a subscription to their e-newsletter. Someone else wrote to them with a similar story and it just got used in the latest newsletter. Visit this link for the full story. Here is a picture from the same article:

"Elements of the past and the future combining to create something not quite as good as either." -- The Mighty Boosh

Elmer's Glue + thick cardboard > Too much super glue and ruining the base.

Just my 2 cents.

Congrats on the free product.

I hear you. I wasn't necessarily endorsing the article, just pointing out that our little hobby made it onto the website of a major adhesives manufacturer, one whose product is used frequently in our hobby.

Usually when I get the Super Glue Corp. newsletter it is all about craft projects and such, so I thought it was pretty cool that something a bit more esoteric like fantasy miniatures finally made it.

Pretty cool Brass Scorpion and Grey Death! Nice to see that Super Glue not only took the article seriously but also included some product suggestions to help modelers out!

This conversation has even begun to boggle my internet-hardened mind.
