How would you rate this comp wise? And how effective do you think it would be?

Basic plan is scream up with the rhino squads and rain some hell down with the Termies and Oblits.

Dread is there for theme (Fallen angels) and long range support as he moves up and tried to do naughty things to the other person's units.

Plasma Plagues are a firebase/objective holdig squad.

Opinions? Advice? Hate letters?

Lord is ok, though T Armor is meh, I know it’s for DSing in, but you can use wings to do the same thing. At least now he has more deployment options.

The termies look ok as a posse to the lord and termiced, but they are a bit too blinged out.
If you go with fist/chains, just go with 2 IMO, then leave the fists at home. IoN YMMV, generally anti-termy weapons ignore the expensive bonus you apply to them.
Be careful, they are not fearless, so you could end up dragging the Lord with them WHEN they fail a morale.

Dread is ok, I’m meh on the hvy flamer though.

Plague marines generally look decent.
Maybe the plasma squad doesn’t need a fist champ.
No third rhino? I highly recommend a third rhino for the second melta squad.

Oblits are ok.

I generally NEVER DS the oblits.
The ranged cover fire is needed as early as they can be on the board.

You have a lot a lot, of tank killing potential with all of the melta guns and almost everything having power fists. Is there possibly an overkill with the anti-tank?

I have never been a fan of lords, and would suggest DP with wings nurgle and warptime for only 10 points more than your current lord. but thats mostly peronsal opinon.

I agree with previous post and say run 2 chain fists and leave it at that.

I take it the Termies are going to be deep striked? if not i dont see a need for so many personal icons.

I personally love obliterators, i would add more if you could, but dont deep strike them. But im not sure where you would get the points for that since you have a pretty solid list here. IMO drop the dread and make some extra room for obliterators.

But i do have to say i like this list and my have to try something like it.
