Hi all

Im starting a dark angels death wing army and just bought thirty cheap terminators on ebay, however they didn't come with bases. Does any one have some or know where i can get them cheap? i need Thirty 40mmround bases for these guys.

The WarStore sells Games Workshop's 40mm bases in packs of 5... but it's $5.99 for 5 :( which would be about $36 for thirty of them!

There's probably a third party maker (and maybe the warstore carries those, too, I didn't check) that makes them for a LOT cheaper!

Here's the cheapie alternative, 50 40mm x 3mm(tall) plywood bases for around $10.00.

Wow! I've never heard of a plywood base... that's a good deal, though, assuming the edge is bevelled or at least cut nicely!

$1 each for plastic circles! Eeyyyaaahhh! I wonder if the hardware store sells anything of the correct size for less. I would say that you could find washers, for example, but of course, those have a big hole in the middle. Milk Caps could work, too! Once you've primed, painted, flocked, and modeled something onto it, who will know the difference?

If you want the real deal (I don't blame you if you do) I can't top the suggestions already given.

There's always GW Direct. If you buy $15 or more then shipping will be free. If you need 6 sets of 5, shipping would therefore be free.

When I sell them on eBay such as at this link, I sell them a bit cheaper than GW and my shipping on a single set of 5 is cheaper than GW's, but I don't have large quantities to sell at once.

Check Hobby Lobby or Michaels for wooden disks. They come in all sizes and are cheap. I use them for terrain and objective counters, but I see no reason you could not mount a figure on them.
