I prefer koptas, as I can pull T1 strikes on vehicles (which orks have difficulty dealing with through regular means) if I get first turn, or if I don't, can use the range of TL big shootas to sit right back out of most harms way, and pick stuff off.

I have enough combat elements that reach out and get there in turn 2, so do not need bikes to fill that role.

You should ascertain which you need, based on what's in the rest of your army, and make your decision on that.

Can't go past deffkoptas, especially when said koptas have twin-linked rocket launchers!

Koptas can flank. Holding them in reserve means your opponent has to place all his tanks together in the centre of his deployment, or accept that koptas will come on from a flank and assault one of his tanks.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

I like Both.

DeffCoptas have good weapons, and can scout, and are fast.

But bikes look really cool.
