So ive amassed a rather sizable goblin army and im ready to move onto modeling. The problem is i cant seem to pull together a theme for these guys.
While cruising around warseer i discover the xmas goblins, cant remember the creators name but she did a fantastic job. Black cloaks with red head cloths, complete with white fur and skiing goblins.
Unfortunately when i look at my goblins i cant seem to find inspiration, any goblin ideas you guys have been keeping hidden in the back of your mind?

Gonads has a sweet goblin force that was put together very very quickly:

Go to page 3 or so to see them started.
Still my favorite army plog.

As a quick thought, i have a vision of them still being mountain goblins that have some strange quirk, territorial and superstious.
I have always loved the obsession with mushrooms, as well as the mad cap brewing pot that was thought up in one of the side fluff books.
I liked the idea of the xmas goblins because they strayed away form the traditional all black idea while retaining a classical image. Its also very easy to imagine a tyrannical ruler who has been gifted the rites of power via the seasonal deity, ie a snow man he builds every winter.
Thing a short Mussolini, who is green and hopped up on fungus beer and mad caps.
To the goblin Bret army, i watched that thread develop and thought it was absolutely amazing, made me consider a VC goblin army. A goblin can get really popular when he discovers a fallen necromancers book.
And to gonads *quiet snickers* i liked your army alot, as i always seen to run out of steam for painting. Getting one together at a reasonable pace is always a monumental task.
I also liked the idea of multiple goblins per base, but never understood why.
