I'm thinking of doing a 40k army themed on the Ori forces from SG:SG1. I'm thinking either Eldar (Farseers = Priors) or even Tau (Kroot/Firewarriors as foot soldiers and Suits as Priors). Both of those armies also have skimmers which better fit the theme of the SG1 universe. That or even Space Wolves with their crazy psykers and ground troops.

Note: If this isn't the place to put this, would a Mod please move it? I figured 40k general discussion would be the best.

Question, are you going to mix models from various races to field troops to suit the Ori look and feel?

Or are you picking an army and going just with that army?

If the latter, then maybe consider Witch Hunters. In either case, go for it and best of luck, make sure you post pictures

I would like a legal army using "Counts As". I hadn't thought of Witch Hunters, though. Their fanatical nature and faith system would actually fit pretty well.

Guard fit pretty well.

The troopers are cadians.
Priors are Astropaths.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
