I have a small chaos dwarf army, mostly painted, sitting in a box at home; do you all recommend selling it on e-bay or puting it up for trade on this site? I've just been mulling it over and can't make up my mind. Thanks for your thoughts.

Hey, thanks for the info. I was just thinking, though, that it's not a complete army and the figs are expensive or hard to find now.

Although not a guarantee, GW have not ruled out doing Chaos Dwarves in the future. They were quoted as saying that they want to get back round to them at some point. Whether you are still alive when "some point" swings around is another matter. Don't expect to see them in 2010 though.

After looking at the indy book, I have say several folks put a great deal of work into it; more than a great deal of GW originated material... If I were GW and wanted to refresh the CDs, I would pay them off with miniatures and take their work.

You can also convert plastic chaos dwarves fairly easily using chaos and dwarf kits.

I'm starting CD currently, using tons and tons of converted Dwarfs.

Yeah, all this talk of CDs is making me wan to pull them out of the closet and dust them off. I'll have to look and see exactly what I have and what I'll need I guess.

I especially like the tower thing, looks like a nice DIY project with plastiboard.

The only time I've ever seen them played was when they were manning a hellcannon. :/

I've heard that Robin Williams plays Chaos Dwarfs

I play Chaos Dwarfs regularly (using the Ravening Hordes rules) at my local GW. They always gather a crowd when they are on the table.

Does anyone know where I can find the ravening hordes rules. I used to be able to find them on the internet but they have disappeard.

My dad has a whole army of these unpainted and won't let me near them. He has 30-40 with axes and blunderbuses, 10 centaurs, a Lamasu, 30 odd hobgoblins with a mix of spears and bows 15 sneaky gitz, 15+ wolf riders a hobgoblin bolt thrower, the dwarf death rocket and earthshaker and all the characters. He made sure to get all varients of all metal miniatures and only misses the Taurus. I do wish he'd part with it all. :p

If they were my C'dwarfs i'd cash them in on ebay because they are getting quite valuable, then id buy a new empire army deal with money to spare
