Don't know if anyone else will get the reference, but the head reminds me of:

I was going for chaos in an ultra shell, I had some extra bitz to work with. So I am going to leave it as it is for the armor but I have not decided about the base maybe a dead marine being walked over or something like that.

On subject.. I see what you mean.. kind of like he just got touched by the powers of chaos but hasent had time to kill eh? Maybe do as you said and make the base a bit chaosy. I would definitely bloody the axe and make the armour look chipped and wot not

Nice work, although Ultramarines are known for being uber-loyal....well, everyone wants to be cool(read "A member of the Chaos Family")once or twice in their lives!

Ive also always hated the idea the UltraMArines are just immune to being corrupt. Pssh, I still think Calgar and others are keeping the Emperor from dying just so they can stay in power.

It was my first try at hand painting symbols

As I said earlier, I really like your conversion work, I think it gives a really good, "I've just converted to Chaos" look. I wouldn't change anything about his armor, but I do like the idea of messing around with the base to make it look a little more Chaosy.

That's a good conversion. Nice work.

Maybe some more chaos-ifiying, and highlights on the blue. Take my opinion with a grain of salt though, hehe. Finally, a point made about any marine being able to convert to chaos.
