Yeah I was wiping the floor with the Emperor's best in Kill Points with my Necrons, and the Space Marines General declared he had given up. What should I do with my band of Surrendered Space Marines?

I don't think that Necrons make a habit of taking prisoners......

Hmm true, I guess I should follow fluff and execute them. Though prisoners or hostages is always a solid plan.

Marines would not surrender because Necrons would not offer.

I don't think Marines would voluntarily surrender, regardless of who's offering.

Yep marines would never surrender and necrons would never offer a surrender.

Accept your opponent’s concession gracefully and offer him a rematch.

If he has a terrible army list/is a very new/inferior player, you may wish to tone down your army/take unusual/less powerful units, to add variety and give him a better chance. If your opponent is very competitive/practicing for tournaments, however, it’s probably better to let him face the full-strength army again.

From a fluff perspective you should dispatch your fleet to chase down the cowardly commander of the imperial forces who decided to not even try to help those beleagured marines. Let none escape the fate that awaits them etc. Or if you were just defending your tomb world and those were the only attackers, put your flannel pajamas back on and go to bed for another century or so.

I would assume a "surrender" by the Space Marines against the Necrons would involve pulling everyone they can out of the fight, and leaving the rest to be mercilessly disintegrated by the legion of spooky skelebots.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

Rather than dumbing your own game down, why not help him play better?

The correct way to resolve this is to smash his figures with a hammer in front of him.

Q: How many of a specific demographic group are required to carry out a simple task?
A: An arbitrary number. One to carry out the task in question, and the remainder to act in a manner stereotypical of the group.

I'm not sure I understand why a space marine general surrendering is worth mentioning unless it was for smugness of hey guys I beat a marine player... ha that taught those Gw posterboys.

Is it really worth a thread? because I don't see space marine players making one for every person they beat etc.

Nah it's not really worth a thread, I only posted it because I had lost to several space marines players like 5 or 6 times in a row against my Eldar. So owning space marines with my brand new necrons made me so happy...
