I've googled and I've checked GW.

Anyone know where I could find them?

(The rules for WD being carried by Bugman and gotrek, about 1000 points)

The rules were in an issue of White Dwarf, can't remember which one off the top of my head.

EDIT: it's the 30th Anniversary issue, 330 (the one with the Blood Angel's codex)

About the 3-in-1 special character, I'd say: laaaaaame...

for kids you know...

Or rather, cool for ONE time, but otherwise it's just a bit cheesy to have an all-star 3-in-1 special character that can never reflect the sum of it's parts well enough.

they are very nice SC's seperately. Bugman had his rangers, Gotrek his pal Felix and the WD could be anywhere!
now, ain't that a lot nicer than giving your opponent 1,000 victory points with a lucky cannonball?

His special rules say that ranged weapons half their strength so cannons would only be str 5, and seen as he has a 1+ armour save and a 4+ ward save he's not likely to die from a lucky cannonball!

No, that means they will still die from a moderately lucky cannonball... besides, cannonballs cannot be saved against by armour and do d6 wounds for each wounding hit. Rolling a 6 for the number of wounds will do nicely.

heh, what a big bowl of crapcheese this... It out-herohammers 5th edition, where every special character was balanced and fitting to the style of the game by comparrison.
