Done *before* sunday?! You'll have to strip them with something like simple green, which may take some doing with particularly thick paint, and then spray them again more carefully.

Scrub harder?

In the future, do short controlled bursts. Leave them to dry, go back and inspect and decide whether more is needed. I find two sprays from each direction is about right.

As for getting it off, there is no easy solution, you just have to keep at it.

First off you need to spray from further back ten to twelve inches away. Second buy some quick color from home depot for 97cents a can that works just as well as GWs primer be sure to get FLAT. Last never use nail polish remover on plastic models only metal. Simple green works better. Welcome to dak dak.

I goota disagree. I tried the nail polish (non-acetone/acetone free) and it slightly melted poor Bob (my test marine model) after only 45 seconds.
Simple green is the better route, although I hear Castrol super clean had gotten good results as well. I havent tried the Castrol, but the simple green will work; it just takes a few hours to a day depending on how thick the paint is.

If I give you a cookie, will you go away? If I give you the bag, will you go far, far away?

@r3n3g8boy nail polish remover melts plastic as stated in the last post. As for the primer GWs is way overpriced i use QUICK COLOR from home depot. The reason i reiterated myself is because i have no idea which you were confused about.

Simple green works, but you've gotta let it soak.

Adding a significant amount of elbow-grease does not hurt either...

Welcome to dakka.
