Magnetising generally leads to better results than foam packing.

I have a highly converted daemon army. Many of the models are not centered over the base. Battlefoam is the only case that works for this army. It's expensive but you get exactly what you want. If you are playing a conventional army with conventional models it might not be worth the added expense if you are on a tight budget.

From what I hear you get what you pay for. Quality stuff, but for the same price as a good sized bag and foam you could get most of a new army.

Ive seen quite a few people who have battle foam cases at my local GW and wow... lets just say I cant wait to get my own case.. Some of the customs cuts and stuff they had were just awsome, and the service is more than any thing you could ask for imo.

I think dollar for dollar the Battlefoam bags are the best bags in army transport right now. The customability for all armies is there, plus the sheer amounts you can carry is phenominal.

The notion of cost/worth is with each person though, if you can afford one that heck ya it is worth it, if not, i hear Sabol makes some good bags for smaller loads or the good ol GeeDub double wide standard.

Like an Astin Martin DB9 'coopay', almost 200k and is it worth it? Damn rights it is.

Way above you guys

All depends on the value you attribute it...you think its worth it, do it, you think you've got an alternative, why not?

Short answer: Battle foam makes a great product and is worth every penny.

Long answer: Remember the old saying "If your concerned about the cost you probably can't afford it" This holds true for battlefoam as well, at over 300USD the PACK 1520 holds my entire DKoK army!!! That includes over 140 Guardsmen 20 Heavy weapons teams 4 Vendetta chassis 6 Chimeras and 6 Leman Russ chassis.

Its a great product with great customer service.

I got their 5 pack of 1" trays and like them. If you have custom models those won't work for you. I imagine their custom work is AMAZING. Hard to beat sabol as I feel like their product is solid and easier to get your hands on.

Concern for cost doesn't mean you can't afford it; people who are concerned about
quality take their time to pick the right product and make it last.

Unlike me, who pretty much just spends to get on with it.

I'd say get if you can looks great and from what i hear amazing level of quality. I'll be getting some soon to house my Nidzilla it's all magnetized but it still gets scratched and broken all the time. Which causes me a lot of repainting and touching up.

If you don't live in the USA the shipping is very expensive , from What I've heard.

My 1520 is rather nice, but I got it to transport some specific Huge models (Reaver , Dread drop pods) For normal troops it might be worth it (cost wise) to go with the Sabol stuff ( have a ton of those cases).

The Battlefoam stuff is top notch, but can be even for some one that has a ton of FW a tough pill to swallow. The build qualities are far above every thing else I've tried. The foam is very good, but I still wish it was a bit more rigid still. The cases are like the Bently/ Rolls Royce of cases... Huge, over built, Luxury items... only downer on the cases are the 1520's weigh a frigging ton when full and desperately need wheels if you are going to have to carry it more than 50-100 " from the car. From what I hear this may be, being updated this Xmas season.

To me the pricing is not competitive with the other systems available, but if you have Large models that won't fit in the other stuff you really are left no other option.

It's like as I said they are Bentley or Rolls of bags, You could get close to it for far cheaper... but it's the little things and the custom cut stuff that make them worth it.
