I've seen alot of good ways to set them up, but probably my favorites are melta+multi-melta, or plasma gun and las-cannon. Now, this is an army i'm planning to use im most tournaments, so competiveness is needed. Any thoughts?

How are you running your squads-- Rhino, Razorback, Drop Pod, or foot?

Rhinos.

Also, I need them to be tank hunters, since my Seargent has a power fist and meltabombs, so anti-tank set up.

I prefer to equip the tac squad as follow:
1st Squad with plasmagun and plasma canon --> Defending role, hig fire rate, high str and low AP
2nd Squad wiht meltagun and missle launcher--> Support role, good vs. AV/MC
Both Sargs with powerfist--> Back up, if any MC/Dreadnought is come to near to my objectives.

Hope that helps

How's this for an anti-tank unit?
Melta-gun and Plasma Cannon?

Plasma cannon is not anti-tank.

I go pf+combimelta/meltagun/lascannon for anti-armor.

I myself prefer PF, multi-melta and a plasma gun. The two heavy/special weapons have the same range as each other and the bolters, so nobody's left out in the shooting phase. As it's a midrange squad, the PF is there for anti-MC insurance.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I like dividing my 3 tac squads into roles, and so can someone review this:

Anti-Infantry
Missle Launcher and Flamer
(Destroy the enemy before they get to you, this is probably the best setup against Orks as i've seen)

Anti-Tank
Multi-Melta and Melta-Gun
(Every time i've played with this, always have gotten at least 1 penetrating shot from them)

Anti-anyone one of these)
Missle Launcher/Heavy Bolter (really don't know which one, help!) and a Flamer (god I love flamers)

and possibly, for a fourth tac squad, a support squad of melta-gun and missle launcher?
