So i decided to shed light on some things regarding the old ones so i figured lexicanum was the way to go. But i ended up with more questions.
For the record i dont have the necron codex.

Did the Necrotyr create bodies for all of the C'tan? Do they all look like the Deciever and Nightbringer?
Allegedly their bodies are morphable so they can take any form?

Who created the body for the Necrotyr? They themselves or the C'tan? They built gazillions, surely the Necrotyr didnt manage that on their own?

1. Yes, all the known C'tan were given bodies by the Necrontyr. They would have had their own unique appearances, such as the Void Dragon, who is (obviously) a dragon.

2. As far as I know, only the Deciever has the power to shapeshift. There's a story in the codex about how he assumes the form of a planetary governor.

3. I'm not sure. Probably the Necrontyr themselves, as they would have had the manpower and facilities to do so.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

The necrontyr created the bodies, guided by the C'tan.

Yes. Answers the above too.

The necrontyr were mortal creatures, tricked by the C'tan into eternal obedience with an immortal body.
Why should the necrontyr not manage to build that many necron-bodies on their own?
Their C'tan masters are versed in any materials, with such help production will be easy.

I think the necron dex will be the best source for necron fluff for a long time.

The Necrontyr created the C'tan bodies out of living metal, which the C'tan can change at will when incased in it.

It's suggested the C'Tan created the Necron shells for the Necrontyr as the Necrontyr had created the bodies of the C'tan. However, when the process occured, the Necrontyr lost their souls and in the process became automatons.
