Okay, Im tired of people always commenting that Inq are sad in HTH, I know that already. So I cam up with my own character to solve the dreadful problem.

Inquisitor Lord Dandeon

WS - 4
BS - 4
S - 3
T - 4
W - 3
I - 5
A - 3
Ld - 10
Sv - 2+ (4+)

Eqiupment: Daemonhammer, Artificer Armour, Icon of the Just, Bolter

Phsychic Powers: Dandeon is an accomplished psyker and can use the Holocaust and Scourge psychic powers.

Special Rules
Combat Expertise: Dandeon is a hand to hand combat expert, having faced down many foul demons and choas worshippers face to face. Dandeon may reroll failed rolls to hit.

Puritan: Dandeon is a puritan at heart and abhors all things demonic and chaotic. No Daemonhosts can be used in an army led or including Dandeon

Valiant Leader: Dandeon is a charsimatic leader and his troop fight harder for their beloved General. All models within line of sight to Dandeon can reroll failed morale tests, and increases their Leadership to 9. If Dandeon falls in battle however, his troops will become disheartened. If Dandeon is removed from the table as a casualty, then all models (not including enemies and allies) must take a leadership test at their base leadership with no modifiers.

Comments welcome since this is my first try at creating a special character. I need a points cost for him as well, his base cost if he was a normal Inq Lord is 155, but I know I need to add points for his advantages, but I tried to lower that throught the disadvantages (like the impact on death in Valiant Leader). Plz Comment.

Curses! Just when you've finally managed to bring the whole world under your evil influence some pathetic little Inquisitor goes whining off to the Adeptus Terra about rogue psykers and daemonic possession. I mean, do I look possessed? Well, do I? DO I???

Why is he T4 when all Inquisitors are T3? Also, does he have acess to Henchmen?

155 plus henchmen is ok for him. 3 attacks at S6, I1 is not all that good against most armies. The extra bit of T is nice for describing his character and the rules advantages are balanced with the morale tests and the no demon hosts. No eternal warrior so not overpowering even against demons in close combat.

I was thinking of giving him the Grimoire of True Names, so he does still have his advantage over demons.
was thinking of a points cost between 170 and 190

Almost identical to the rule for Tau Ethereals, and trust me...it is a pain in the ass. Makes sense as far as your fluff goes, but be careful what you wish for!

I was just trying to make sure he didnt become too OP, how bad is it cause it may effect the cost points a bit more.

You could give him WS5, would give him a bit more of a defensive edge against a lot of combatants.

I thought I would do that, but I didnt because im thinking WS 6 might be too high (warrior +1 WS)

Automatically Appended Next Post:
After some thinking, Ive decided to make a few slight tweeks. His points cost is reasonable, I compared him to Coteaz and he difference in base points cost is about 15, and Coteaz has no larger drawbacks like the second part of Valiant Leader.
