So, I recently did up a blog entry about Pink minis, so I thought I'd share this project with you.

This was a commission, so I was asked to paint these minis in Pink and warm White colors.



What does everyone think?

That was a terrible joke, Malfred. Terrible.(Admittedly--I was thinking about making a "Red Dawn" joke and commenting how the Pinko Commies were invading and we had to get the Wolverines rolling)


But man, those are still pretty impressive. I can never get warm colors to turn out like that.

You know, I think they're just asking for the bad puns anyway. I mean, the whole concept of tentacle pink on minis is asking for it.

You know, I have a little easier time with warm colors than cooler ones. I think that if I'm not deliberately doing something different, I'd do most of my stuff in warm neutrals. Warmer browns or warm whites seem to find their way onto most of my minis.

Do you know what's tripping you up with warm colors?

I dunno, I just never enjoy doing them. They just annoy having to do them.

Browns and reds aren't too bad, but ugh. Anything brighter than a dark red? Forget it!

I guess if there was a way to paint those guy pink, you deffinetly did it really well lol.
