hey everyone,
My name is Shawn, I am a member at SNEG (Southern New England Gaming) Club, base in Fall River,
MA. We are a Non-for-profit Gaming club that caters to Miniatures,
RPGs, Board Games, Card Games, Airsoft (like paintball, but cooler), and video games.
We rent a 2000+ square feet space right off 195. we have 10 miniature gaming tables(several 4'x4', 6'x4', and one 8'x4'), with terrain, and an 8'x6'
RPG table that can sit as many as 10 and a
GM (and that is leaving 1 whole 8 foot edge for the
GM). in the center of the table is a raised 6'x4' section, Ideal for battle maps, whiteboards, and any other props you may need. as of right now it is only in use on saturday nights, and with the club open to members 24/7, that leaves a lot of time available for other
RPG groups.
in terms of miniature gaming, we play WarMachine, Hordes, Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer
40k,
AT-43, Confrontation, Flames of War, Mordheim, Uncharted Seas (old school naval combat), And Victory at sea (naval combat). plus other random games.
We are also very open to new miniatures games, board games,
rpgs, and other games in general.
We are a membership (20+) based club, and are not affiliated to any Gaming store, but we do support our local game stores. without them we wouldnt have the supplies we need to play our games. if any of this piques your interest, and would like to come check us out, our busiest days are wednesday nights (from 4pm on), and saturdays from 12 noon on.
if you just want to come check us out, we don't charge, however if you want to play some games with us, we do have a 5 dollar per day charge for non members. and membership is 25 dollars per month, unlimited access (as members receive a key after a short time), storage space for your games, work space if you like to work on models or whatever, and we have drinks and snacks available. all money we collect goes toward rent and terrain for the club.
