Captain Vladis-Sargonier of the World Eaters, Favored of Khorne (260 points)

WS:6
BS:6
S:6
T:4*
W:4
I:6
A:4(5)+d6
LD:10
SV:2+/5++

Weapons: Plasma Cannon, Daemon Weapon
Wargear: Chaos Armor, Wings, Scorpion Tail, Brass Skin, Mark of Khorne, Additional Limbs

Rules:
Independent Character, Relentless
Vladis-Sargonier's Plasma Cannon was granted to him by Khorne and is attached to his arm. As such, in close combat it is considered a close combat weapon and in conjunction with his daemon weapon he gets +1 A in CC. (Already included above in parentheses)

Daemon Weapon- Grants d6 extra attacks and +1 Str (already included), Power Weapon. Any model wounded by this weapon takes D3 wounds instead of 1. Whenever you roll a 1 for extra attacks, Sargonier suffers a wound that is saveable by an invulnerable save.
Chaos Armor: 2+ Save
Wings: (Jump Pack)
Scorpion Tail: Grants one (2 if charging) WS4 Str8 I4 attack that reduces armor saves against it by 1.
Brass Skin: Str5 and above weapons wound the model as usual, Str 4 weapons and below consider the model T5. The model also ignores any psychic powers affecting him/her on a 4+.
Mark of Khorne: (+1 A, included above)
Additional Arms: Grants 2 (4 if charging as these are considered 2 CC weapons) WS4 S4 I4 attacks in addition to any other attacks.
Addicted to painkillers: At the beginning of each of your turns, roll 1d6, on a 5+ Sargonier automatically loses a wound with no saves allowed.

[++ Vladis-Sargonier, Chosen of Khorne. Noted for his outstanding strategy and tactics despite his bloodlust, the Captain was well-loved by his men for his ferocity in battle and also for his charisma. Shortly after the retreat back into the Eye of Terror, Vladis Sargonier and the troops under his command broke off from the World Eaters, as Sargonier was convinced that Angron was not an able leader, though he never said it to Angron's face. In warp transit, he and the ships under his command mysteriously 'disappeared'. Sargonier proved to be correct when he later heard about Skalathrax. Even despite his devotion to Khorne, his men still trusted him and obeyed his every command, as Sargonier was still a very good leader.

But there are two sides to every coin. Though most soldiers took painkillers, it was noted that Sargonier was addicted to them and would take them after battle. His addiction grew to the point where he would have to be restrained if he could not get his fix. The implants in his mind also took hold, leading to a distinct loss of personality before the heresy.

A favored warrior of Khorne, he has been incredibly blessed by his lord. He has received many rewards and mutations in his 10,000+ years of service. He was incredibly powerful but his daemon weapon sapped his will to live and his addiction to painkillers severely ruined his ability to fight.

Already, his lieutenants make sure that he will remain addicted to them, and they continually poison them with an incredibly rare poison that Sargonier is not able to notice, hurting his effectiveness more. However he is still too powerful to confront directly. Sargonier is only half the warrior that he once was, and when he is dead, it will be like dogs squabbling for the remaining scraps. ++]

---
Yes, he's powerful, but he dies really easily. Very much a glass cannon.

Thoughts? Should he be made more expensive?

A CC beast, but the probability of losing 3 wounds regardless of what happens over a 6 turn game...seems to help shift him into balance.

I am a bit confused, as you list two sets of "Additional Arms"?

My bad, I had no idea about how that happened.

Yeah, when he got into combat he had 2 wounds left after I had rolled miserably, and then he was promptly eaten by his own Daemon weapon and an Imperial Space Marine captain's power weapon.

Of course, the rest of the squad had met their fate by Sargonier's hand so I guess that makes up for it.

I don't think there's anything particularly broken about him and it'd be a very interesting model to model.

The only suggestion I'd have is that you would include his bonuses in his statline (the +1 attack and +1 Strength), if only for constancy with GWs style of including bonuses to S and T and whatnot. It's obviously not a problem if someone actually reads your description, but I think it's possible people might skim and then not include things they should.

Other than that, no suggestions, he sounds like a monstah!

Alright, I have added the bonuses to his statline, and his weapons and whatnot now say "already included in statline".

Hope that helps!

Well I think he is really cool and I would love to see his model it must be really cool by the sounds of it. His stats are balanced out by the wound loss and he is well worth the points! Congrats on a great idea

"They shall be my finest Cannon Fodder, these men who give themselves to me. Like clay I will mold them and in the furnace of war they will become cracked and broken. They will be of tissue paper and whimpy muscle. In tissue paper armor I clad them and with the mightiest flashlights they will be armed. They will be touched by every sort of plauge or disease to help further make them unhappy, all sickness will blight them. They will have almost no tactics, strategies, but lots of machines so that they can atleast stand up to a foe in battle. They are my tar pit against the Terror. They are the bulk of Humanity. They are my Imperial Guard and they will know much fear!"
