We all know that GW hates continuing storylines.
It starts us off with several sometimes good, always gory tales that have until now spawned several armies, so many races and cultures, novels, and tons of fluff. Yeah...but when you`ve finished reading, painting, modelling, discussing and reviewing every kind and form of background, when you have learnt by heart every army book there is, don't you want to believe that the brains at GW will pick up unfinished work and advance the multiple story lines we have at our disposal?
So I'm asking you, from "Fresh faced new users" to "Dakka Veterans" to imagine, using your vast collective knowledge, to assemble a realistic continuation for the 40k universe. I already have a few suggestions from my limited knowledge:
-For those bug-lovers, Tyranids have an attack on Terra pending for years now...hell, why don't they attack?! It would be really fun to have a new campaign book for 'Nid vs. IG and 'Nid vs Speuhs Mawheens, including new sets of scenery including, i'm speculating, Holy Terran Megastructures all in white and gold or giant skyscrapers in ruin...
-Who's a bad robot? Necrons are supposed to be a prelude to an incredibly ancient race slumbering on tomb-worlds...Why don't they wake up and start the real thing? New necrons units, new scenery ( Mechanical floating pyramids in ruins are comin' straight this way! ) and THE END OF PHASE-SHIFT!! Why not, they have nothing to run away from then.
If you spot any typing errors, blame it on the qwertyuiop keyboard that is new to me...
