Not bad, a good mix of anti-vehicle and anti-infantry firepower, but only two scoring units. All of the units are pretty beefed up, you could trim them down and bring more. Not many units makes the Regimental Standard less useful imo, especially since your not really hoping for CC. Also, the vox will not be useful unless the vets have one too - or did you take that into account and just forget to post them here?

so do you reckon I should keep the vets and drop a few things or use infantry platoons. And yes, i think that I may have forgotten the voxes

Earth

You've only got 2 troop choices and both have upgrades they are suspect. What are you planning to do with them? The meltas and chimeras make them good for popping tanks. Why do you add heavy weapons and power weapons?

Techpriest? Why? Try a few games with them and you can see that unit is not worth its points. Armoured sentinels? Make them scouts and run them all in separately. They will be cause some headaches before they get popped. Drop the lascannons on your tanks and run them separately.

Dropping all the junk upgrades will free up around 375 points. Here is what I'd run, run the tanks and sentinels all individually:

(x2) CCS, 4 meltas, chimera
(x1) Vets, 3 meltas, chimera
(x3) Vets, 3 plamas, carapace, chimera
(x3) Sentinel, lascannon
(x2) LRBT, Heavy Bolters

You should tweak it for your own liking, remember it is yours! Just remember when playing guard that you want all your forces to have a role. Don't try to make a unit good at everything as you will make it good at nothing.

That list will perform much better! I believe that the MoO needs his squad to sit tight no? It may be better to give the CCS carapace and plasma. then turn one of your plasma vet squads into a melta squad. If you do that and drop the bolter sponsons on the tanks it leaves you at 1385 with 115 points to play with.

I've now done that, but the total was 1505pts, so I replaced one of the CCS' Plasma for a Melta thus making the total 1500 pts!

All decent units, except why would you give carapace armour to troops protected by a tank? Even for footsloggers, it's an overpriced upgrade IMO. Another thing is the sentinels. I like sentinels, I think they're cool. I do think that vendettas are unfortunately better at using outflanking lascannons. (nice playtesting, GW!)

If you took a vendetta instead of sentinels, and stripped the carapace upgrades, you'd have enough points for another fast attack or heavy support tank.

Looking real good. The only thing I can see is I agree that the carapace may not be needed for the CCS as it's in a chimera, but where would you put the extra 20? Sponsons or pintles for the tanks maybe...

Are you sure you want those voxes? Remember, units in chimeras can't take orders so you're paying 25 points to reroll orders when you'll probably only get to use an order once a game or so.

I think you should specialize the CCS a bit more, something like 4 melta or 3 plasma + medic (so they don't kill themselves) - melta is probably better because 2 plasma squads should be enough. Drop the MoO as well, they'll probably be moving in that chimera. Speaking of chimeras, all your guys want to be in melta range or 12" rapid fire, so you should build them with heavy flamers instead of heavy bolters.

Like Murdog said, carapace on the CCS is probably a little extensive.

Last thing: hunter killer missiles will only hit half the time, and at strength 8 they don't have a great chance of damaging anything but infantry.

With all the points you free up by taking those things away, you could give the naked Russ tanks something nice like plasma sponsons, or upgrade them to Demolishers.

He's right about the voxes... the hunter killers will be deadly if you go first imo. Something's going down! That many is expensive, but good backup for going against mech/armoured formations.

Total points spent on HK missiles: 80. Carapace and MoO on CCS: 50.

I would cut those things, help yourself to another valkyrie/vendetta/hellhound variant. If you're worried about killing transports, choose the vendetta. Personally, I'd take 3 twin-linked lascannons over 8 single-shot krak missiles anyday.
