I'm using the OOP Cadian General from the old command box as in Inquisitor - I plastered a greenstuff I on him, made a psycannon that a skull probe floating beside him is holding, that sort of thing.

But, to make it less Imperial Guard-y I kind of want to put a purity seal on - I notice that Inquisitors people convert often have purity seals on them. But, in the Demonhunters codex, Purity Seals are available as an upgrade that I don't want to take.

Do you think it would be a problem if I stuck, say, a purity seal on the psycannon? What about a purity seal on the Inquisitor himself? I hope to start going to tournaments in a year or so and don't want my Inquisitor to cause any problems.

Well Purity Seals are a nice, cheap upgrade which you should consider taking, but loads of Inquis models have the seals on them, and as long as the opponent know they're decorative, then it should be fine. But like I said, seals are only 5pts and are quite a good little ability upgrade. You should also take a targeter too, which IMHO is one of the best wargear options in the game.
