The idea is to have the platoon up front with all my armor in a circle around my CCS, Basilisk, and mortors.

So what do you all think of the list does it look like it would be fun to play with?

Judging by your opening statement, you don't want the standard-issue dakka advice, which is to buy a load of tanks! Bearing that in mind, I still have a few suggestions to improve your list:

Heavy support: buy the basilisk enclosed top instead of extra armour, it'll make a much bigger difference. Same with the leman russ, those 15 points are better spent on a lascannon or HB sponsons or just upgrading to a demolisher. What're 3 mortors? 3 griffon mortar carriers? Or 3 mortar heavy weapon teams (in which case they're part of the infantry platoon, not heavy support)?

Fast attack: armoured sentinels are a bit weak IMO. Yours is 60 pts. A chimera is 55 points, and can get more dakka, as well as carrying troops. My advice, if you like sentinels, use scout sentinels. Autocannons are good weapons that really benefit from outflanking, because they can target side and rear armour on vehicles.

HQ: your CCS has a regimental standard and a vox, which are good upgrades. I would give them GLs instead of sniper rifles, so that they can move to support the rest of your army while still firing. The PW and BP on the officer are not really very useful upgrades, but go for it if you think they're cool. Just don't expect them to make a huge difference in many combats - 7 T3 wounds are fairly fragile, your CCS can often get wiped out by shooting+assault before the officer can strike at I3.

Elites: I don't see much point in taking an enginseer over more fighting units, but hey, your call. I would take extra armour off the chimera and buy him more servitors though. EA is an expensive upgrade on anything, probably never worth it on something as cheap as a chimera.

Troops: a PCS can only have 1 heavy flamer. Never, ever give your junior officers plasma pistols, because they have a 1/9 chance to blow themselves away with each shot, and you lose your ability to give orders.
The infantry squads would benefit from having the same heavy weapon if they're all blobbing together. Again, the power sword seems quite pointless. Veterans: only 1 HF allowed. Veteran squads are good for getting multiple short-ranged special weapons and driving around in a chimera - if you want them to footslog, try the forward sentries upgrade, buy them 3 long-range special weapons and a heavy.

Overall recommendations: I'd drop the techpriest. Either put the veterans in a chimera and give them some good guns, or scrap them as well, add another footslogging platoon.

Eldar Corsairs: 4000 pts
Imperial Guard: 4000 pts

Corregidor 700 pts
Acontecimento 400 pts

I see what your saying and i'm going to take that advice to heart. I'm going to update the list, Sorry bout a lot of this at the moment I don't have a codex but i'm trying to plan my army out before I buy it.

There is one thing that armored sentinels are good for, and that is as tarpits to any unit lacking in a fist or melta bombs. Even with krak grenades it will on average take a squad of space marines without a first 4 close combats to glance it once. Sure you won't kill much, but your 60 points is tying up 170 points or more for the rest of the game.

My version of this list would be as follows.

HQ
Command Squad (Vox, Mortar) - 60 points
Command Squad (Vox, Mortar) - 60 points

Troops
Platoon Command Squad (Flamer x2), Chimera - 95
-Infantry Blob 29x Infantry (1x Vox, 3x Autocannon), Commissar - 220 points
Platoon Command Squad (Flamer x2), Chimera - 95
-Infantry Blob 29x Infantry (1x Vox, 3x Autocannon), Commissar - 220 points

Fast Attack
Armored Sentinel - 60 points
Armored Sentinel - 60 points

Heavy Support
Basilisk (Closed Top) - 130 points

This comes out to a nice neat thousand point list. The issue you will have is dealing with armor as you simply don't have anything, besides the Basilisk, in this list able to crack armor above 12. However it is a decent base to grow from and seems to fit your idea.

That list does look pretty cool, but it seems you have too many CCS and PCS for me personaly, I would rather invest those points into something else. Also why not change 3x of those autocannons to lascannons and you should be ok for anti-armor?

I think you only need one CCS and one platoon, then you could take some LC's and have more squads or even a tank. I like the general outline though, should be a good balanced start to your company.

Is thier anything else I should add to my list without making it too much like a cookie cutter same-old same-old list?

it's looking good I think, good balance, especially if you get a couple LC's in there...

Drop the CCS bolt pistols, grenade launchers, PCS bolt pistol & one autocannon sentinel (or the mortar team) to free up points for one commissar (to be fielded with the Autocannon infantry sqauds - Whom shield the Lascannon Infantry squads) as well as a lascannon for your CCS.

The basilisk & the standard LRBT are redundant. A Leman russ executioner may server better (or a eradicator, depending on focus. You have 0 AP1-2 firepower otherwise).

Otherwise a well made & well balanced self supporting army.

Firstly, thus far his lists have been illegal. He seems to think he can play with 2 platoons and only 1 PCS. Second, buy the codex, then buy your models.

I would echo the sentiment of the last poster in saying this...........

I understand you wanna have a list in mind before you pay for minis, but why in the Emperor's name would you not get the codex first and actually read through the units and selections and rules before deciding on what to do with your points?
