Hey crew

I love warhammer 40K.
I don't paint or collect the models nor do I play the table top game.

I'm basically into the books and play the Dawn of War series.
All you painters though are Artists and I'm a huge fan of the amazing works you do.


I found this forum after following a link for a picture.

I'm looking for warhammer art, wallpaper and pictures with a view to using them as inspiration for tattoos and ALSO for posters and paintings to hang in the soldiers rest area/gaming area at my work. (In the military)
Could anyone be kind enough to direct me to any threads here or elsewhere (if known off hand) with those kinda pictures in them?

Also this is a long shot but I'm looking for a quote.
It was something to do with the Emperor talking about the creation of his marines.
"And I will protect them with armor and they will be bred with super human strength" bla bla. Something along those lines.

There are exceptionally few posters, etc available. If you just want digital files then put "40K". "space marine", "imperial guard", "john blanche", etc into google images and you'll find loads.

You may want to get a copy of The Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting Primer, lots of quotes and other material that may well interest you.

Hi and welcome to dakka. To answer your question I do remember someone have a tatoo of that one chaos champion from warhammer fantasy. Not sure about copyrights though best check first before starting anything.

Welcome to Dakka Dakka. For inspiration I'd look in painting and modelling, if they don't have what you're after then I guess you could search for it on Google. As for the Emperor quote, I used it the other day

Hey welcome aboard. There is some spiel on the GW website about tattoos being an infringement of their IP. I actually made a post about how I thought thats was silly, if you are interested do a search for it on the forums, you should find it, its only a 3-4 months old.


Having said that I have no idea the quote, but you will be more likely to find an answer if you post in the "fluff for the nuttters section"
