The idea is to hit them hard, fast. Send the speeders in up front, and hammer their troops from turn 1 with the flamers. Then use the bikes to call in the Terminators who can assault valuable units or pound stuff with the cyclone missle launchers, and also helping to clear objectives for the bikes and rhino squad, or just contest them theirselves. So what does everyone think? Should I put melta on the speeders, should I give the Terminators different weapons? Comment away.

The list looks really interesting. I'd like to know how it works out for you. My suggestion would be to mix up the speeder weapons a bit for more versatility.

With all the heavy flamers on your speeders you really don't need a flamer on your tac squad. think melta or multi melta because you're a bit short on at. other then that looks great, the flamer speeder idea seems great.

Ok. I would just keep them in the rhino the whole time, and flamer out, was the idea. My only problem with melta is it's most effective at its half range of 6", and they can't fire the meltagun from inside the rhino if it moves more than 6". So, for the meltagun to be used to full effect, I have to start the turn within 12" of the target. But I will give the meltagun a try and see if I can make it work.

How about multi melta?

I'd like to keep it a five-man squad, to fit the points. It's primarily an objective grabber if the bikes get shredded, and I want some kind of assault weapon to fire out of the rhino. You could say I should just take a Razorback, but it's much cheaper to just take a 5 or 10 point assault weapon. What about plasma? I'm going to have to put this question up in the tactics forum. Thanks for giving me the ideas, though.
By the way, I'm thinking more towards anti-infantry, since I can put multi-meltas on the speeders for free, and fire them after moving 12", plus the bikes have melta.

Tactical Squad-flamer, rhino w/hunter-killer 145pts
The fraction of troops is much too small.
I'd take two full RW Attack squadrons with meltas or plasma guns, and one or two full Tactical units.
Build the rest around this core.

How about put the tactical squad in a razorback w/ lascannon, and have a multi melta or somthing in the squad. Or maybe just a squad of devastators?

I have run almost the same squad before, it is super fast. People will have a hard time with it. I would put a melta-gun in the rhino and free up the pts for a pair of melta speeders. Other than that, good list.
