Hey i have a question about spear head deployment, it's legal to bring reserves from your whole table edge?
I was told at my LGS that reserves had to come from the original deployment zone.
So if the opposite is true what pages do I reference in the rulebook to prove this to them in my next Sperhead game?
This could potentially be a very big deal in my games and tactical decisions as well as for everyone else that plays at the store. It seems like everyone took the deployment zone interpretation including myself when trying to comprehend 5th editon

Page 93 in the BRB, the player that goes first chooses one of the 2 long table edges to be his own table edge. He then deploys in one of the 2 table quarters on that edge.

Reserves can come from anywhere on the long table edge, though.
Arriving from Reserves, page 94, Main rules.

and it results in pseudo outflanking shenanigans if your opponent didnt realize it, I have used this to my advantage many times.
usually results in an auto-win.

The page that has the reserve rules on them (page 95 from memory, but it is somewhere between 94-96 iirc) Page 94 I mean, as stated by kirsanth
