Hello everyone. I'm asking a few questions which has come to mind. Good answers would be appreciated.
1) Has Cities of death become redundant as such with the release of Apocalypse? I've never been to a Tournament, so I don't know what to expect.
2) Is it worth me buying my own buildings? I don't play alot and I would have no-one to play with. Seems like I've answered myself, but I'll leave it here for you guys to judge.
Yes that was really only two questions. All help with these would be appreciated.

1) Cities of Death isn't reduntant but I doubt it would come up at a tournament.
2) If, as you say, you have no-one to play with then I would hold off buying some buldings. However, I would consider buying some general battlefield scenery if I were you. In case you wanted to have a game on your table or something.
Hope that helps,

As far as missions go, usually they will be straight out of the core rule book with a few variations thrown in for grins & giggles. As far as armies go, it varies greatly form place to place. I've been to tourneys where every other army was Space Marines, and I've been to some where there were only a handful of them.
Buying scenery is quick, but if you are on a budget, there are plenty of 'How to's' on this site. Have a look at them and give 'em a try. My wife & kids play, so we have our own table at home & have made %90 of our own scenery. It's pretty cheap to make & it's actually a lot of fun to build a neat piece, come up with some ridiculous story for it and then fight it out!
Good luck and don't forget about the independent retailers if you ae opn a budget (some of them will give %20 - %25 off retail w/free shipping!).
