Hi there, last time lots of people told me that I should give them some veteran's marks, I decide to do a "upgrade" for them.

I didnt do battle damage much before, so this is more like a test of several different methods. The idea is to use more red like color for the rust effect, in order to get kind of bloody atmosphere, also adding contrast to the green halo to achieve a new color balance on the whole.

The difficult part was to create effects on both highlight and shadow areas ,which is very hard for only one type of effect, so I choose to use the chips effect on the light side and rust effect on the dark side, it may seem not very logic in reality ,but it is for the color balance on the whole model.

So what do you think? comment and critic are much welcome

here is the "new" version last time

These look absolutely fantastic. The battle damage is really well done too. Some nice subtle efffects that add a lot to the overall piece.

Are you using an airbursh for these? Some of the graduations of color are simply fantastic.

This!

Very talented painter, the blending is amazing. The bird in the group shot is amazing too. The weathering is awesome too.

Of course, as an American, that means I must say that soccer sucks, and football (real football... you know, the one where you do everything with your hands) is 10,000 times as good. I mean, football players could probably beat up soccer players, even, because they actually know sports.

no airbursh, although the basic blending could be done by airbursh also I guess

I'm always amazed at how much a little well-done OSL ups the awesome factor. These are great!

Very good soft transitions and the battle damage is so subtle. It really enhances the minis and fits them.

Truly excellent painting.

Very clean, and conveys what you are going for every well.

In one word: Sexy.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
